Questions about the post credit scenes

Did I make up a post credit scenes in my mind? I thought there was a quick ending to the post credit scene where Thor comes back for Jane. I thought they kissed and it blacked out to the next day, where Thor is sitting at the table, looking bored, like eating cereal, because there's nothing for him to do.

Was this real? I just watched it on TV and all I saw was Thor and Jane kissing and that was it.

Thor and Jane kissing (and the Jotun beast returning) has always been the final post credit scene shown to audiences. In the theater, on the home release, and on the tv airings. It's never cut to Thor being bored/eating cereal. Maybe you're thinking of the *beginning* of that post credit scene where it's Jane, Selvig and Darcy that are eating cereal at the table - kind of bored - right before Thor shows up?

Nillindeiel

Agent Hill: ...Then aliens invaded New York and were beaten back, by among others, a giant green monster, a costumed hero from the 40's.... and a god.

Agent Ward: I don't think Thor is technically a god.

Hill: Well...you haven't been near his arms.

Or search: team Thor Official Marvel on YouTube. It's basically Thor being offended that nobody contacted him about the fight between Tony and Captain America (civil war).
