Its funny you post this because when I watched this movie the instant I saw the gravitational anomaly I instantly thought of the Animatrix and thought to myself "there's a glitch in the matrix". I was waiting for one of the kids to jump off a flight of stairs to be stopped inches above the ground floating like in Animatrix. The whole idea seem likes it taken right out of the Animatrix.

On that thought I think it would be cool to make a Matrix mini series of people inside the Matrix who experience things like the stories in the Animatrix. With Smiths hunting people who are becoming self aware, the glitching of the environment, even views of the main cast and interactions with them from the eyes of people still connected to the Matrix. Such as seeing Neo or others being chased by Smiths or even the interactions of them trying to free people. I think they could do some much with a Matrix series with the possibilities that could happen in the Matrix. Like how I would love to see a background stories of the Merovingian and his vampire minions, kind of like they did in the video game or even stories with The Architect or oracle or make a live action stories of the storied they had in the Animatrix describing what happened in the first years of the A.I revolution.

There is so so much they could do but all they did was create short stories in the Animatrix.

It's not just "oddly similar," it's pretty much *identical* to the short "Beyond" from the Animatrix. All it's missing is a lost cat.

Omg, love that short film! I have to watch this movie again to make a judgement, but if so, cool :D
