Romainian not Russian
Sorina says she was Miss Bucharest in a beauty contest in Transylvania both of which are in Romania but Daniel called her Russian at one point.
shareMight be a mistake by the writers, but this can be easily justified. An ignorant moron like Lugo probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a Romanian and a Russian. Since the real Sorina (or Sabina) is Romanian, we can assume that was the case here.
A less likely possibility is that Sorina IS Russian (unlike her real-life counterpart), but she just lived in and entered a pageant in another country.
