The way people talk about the Toy Story movies, you'd think most people hate this one, and love the others.

But on Rotten Tomatoes, Toy Story 4 has a 97% critics score, that's only 1% lower than Toy Story 3. And it actually has the highest audience score. It also has 7.7 on IMDb, only 0.2 less than Toy Story 2.

When TS3 came out I was stunned by how good it was. TS4 had a lot to compete with, expectations were very high so the mixed to negative reviews by audiences shouldn't come as a surprise. I've found it's a better film on numerous rewatches but it's become TS2 in terms of 'that one next to the greater film'.
