The poster is weird
It just like a bloke in a fancy jacket. The haircut, the pose, the font and the background.. it just doesn't look medieval at all! I didn't even notice that he has a sword at first.

You're right. He looks a little like an Oscar statuette.
😎
Haha yeah! Just look at it. Is the background a polluted sky? Like seriously? Is this set in the industrial revolution or a dystopian future? Who was in charge of this poster really? No wonder the movie bombed.
There's no fierceness, no action, no nothing. How he hold the sword so close to the chest. WTF? Is he a King or a fashion model? It would've worked for "DKNY Winter Collection" ...but in May. That kind of thing.
Now that you mention it, it looks like he posed for a photo in front of a gray screen. Weak.
😎
He looks like a Eurotrash douchebag waiting outside in the cold to get into a nightclub in the winter.
Circa 2017.
Ridiculous looking movie
Did you mean... ridiculous looking movie poster?
shareprobably would have been cooler if they did a poster of angry and pulling the sword out of the stone slab.
I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/AkM3BU5swmg
Even the equally ill-fated 2004 King Arthur movie has a better poster. At least we know it was an epic movie of a legendary tale set in medieval times. There were swords, bow and arrow, horses, warriors, etc. This movie has... a guy!
Why is this poster rendered in sephia anyway? Is this a World War movie? Because, you know, in medieval times they don't shoot movies in color...
Not just the poster, the whole movie looks designed by modern nightclub Eurotrash
shareThis movie poster fails so hard it's incomprehensible!
Poster designer: Whachu want?
Producers: You ever herd about King Arth...
Poster designer: Say no more fam.
