I'm worried about DeNiro being in this

I love The King of Comedy, it's a classic. But Rupert Pumkin wasn't a good comic. He wasn't supposed to be. But DeNiro isn't really a funny actor. And in real life he's not funny at all. I think if you would've cast someone with a more comedic background, doesn't have to be someone who did stand up. Someone with a Sitcom or background, like SNL would've been better. Bil Murray might've been a better choice. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be a winner though.

Not to sound like a troll or whatever but just because DeNiro isn't "funny" in real life doesn't mean he can't play a funny character. It's called "acting" which he is of course good at. And with Sean Penn at the helm I'm definitely anticipating this.
