How can they get away with this?
The Milne estate, or Disney, or somebody owns the rights to these characters. I find it hard to believe they'd license this sort of treatment.

shareNo-one cares about Pooh these days, and he's seen as a pariah since the Chinese President has been compared to him.
Besides, who cares about a character named after FAECAL EXCREMENT???
Who hurt you as a child?
shareYou seem to know more about AMJF than even AMJF. Did YOU hurt AMJF at some point?
shareI asked him a question. Asking questions means I know nothing about him and want to learn. See how that works?
shareNow you're dropping a scoop of disingenuous on your shit pile!
Your original question carries an assumption that someone 'hurt' AMJF as a child. This means you seem to know something about AMJF, enough to assume AMJF was a hurt as a child and you are now merely seeking the answer as to who hurt AMJF.
Do YOU see how that works?
Of course you do.
My assumption is based on his comment. But I wanted to confirm so I asked. See how that works?
As for you, based on your pointless disruption of this thread, I assume you didn’t get enough attention from your mamma as a child? She didn’t breastfeed you enough?
A certain amount of time after an author dies, their characters go into the public domain, which means other authors or whoever have the right to produce work featuring those characters.
This is what has happened with Winnie The Pooh.
Maybe Disney now is venturing into horror films? How cool would it be if Disney purchased the rights to the Friday the 13th franchise and in each movie, Jason would wear a different Disney characters mask
shareWinnie the Pooh is in the public domain, but Disney owns the image of WtP as presented in their animations.
