OK, so genocide is an acceptable means of population control, yet contraception or homosexuality are mortal sins...

They aren't mortal sins. They are just your basic everyday sins. The Ten Commandments are the mortal sins.

Contraception like condoms is ok, but abortion is not. And yes, homosexuality is wrong.
