Why Noah wanted to kill them?

I turned on the TV and it happened to be playing but I was like an hour late. Why did he want to kill the babies? Why were they allowed to live if they were boys?

I think he said that girls would potentially reproduce, and in his mind humans were not supposed to continue in the new world. It's been a while since I saw it, so I could be mis-remembering it.

Men also reproduce! I think he thought they were going to breed with their uncle or something so it was all pretty crazy lulz

Noah's interpretation of the Creator's plan sees him make all human life extinct, with the only difference for Noah's family being they die off, rather than drown. Noah rationalizes that it's OK for a boy to grow up to be the "last man" and see every one else die off. But not so good for a woman who after all is capable of bringing forth new life.🐭
