One of the best films i have seen

This is one of the best films i have seen, not one of my favorites but a really good film

I believe it is the most anderrated Darren Aronofsky film to date and the second best underrated Darren Aronofsky film (after The Fountain).

What i liked about this film:
It is a timeless film
It has some strong themes and messages
The acting is great
It is an enjoyable film
Also really visually great film

I believe this film is underrate because of some religious controversy.

Also i am pretty sure this film will age well, and here are the reasons:
The story is really timeless
The special effects are good
One of the themes of the film, global warming, is mostly to be discussed more in the future
And i believe and want to believe that there will be less religious fanatics in the world..

What are your thoughts?

Really good movie. Can be watched over again and enjoyed. Action is superb and the mythical storyline holds your interest. Very well made movie

I loved the movie too. Even if it was kinda the Lord of the Rings version of Genesis lol. But... even as a Christian , I do have to remember that before the flood the world was completely different as we know it today and possibly even a different set of rules for things like phizizks and all that sciency stuff.

One of the best films you've seen? C'mon dude, this is the worst Aronofsky film even.

This film is embarrassing on every level. Watch the YMS review of it, it's great. The dialogue is hilarious, for some reason the accents are all different, they intergrate tranformers-esque sequences of schlock, the acting is so wooden and dull (especially by Crowe). Me and my friend watched this (no drugs or alcohol) and we were laughing our arses off. The scenes of Crowe waiting to kill the kid are morbidly hysterical. We constantly repeat the lines "BUT YOU'RE BARREN! YOU CANNOT CONCEIVE!!!!!" because it's just so hilariously melodramatic and dumb.

I mean, of course some of it is nicely shot, but the landscape and the overly dull filters get so repetitive and tedious.

You have obviously never seen a really good film if you think this one is "one of the best." Compared to Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Vertigo, The Last Picture Show, even Star Wars, this movie is pure garbage. The Godfather movies and Chinatown put this to shame.

I'm sure you're very young, but you really need to expand your horizons and see some films that are ACTUALLY great.

Although those films are all great you can't tell someone what the best film they've ever seen is. It's purely down to personal opinion and not what are simply renowned as the best films
