Indefinitely, one of the worst films I've seen in a long while.

As a result of my mother's insolence towards new releases, she decided to watch 'Piggy'. My radar was telling me that this film was going to be bad right from the very start. Especially since the promotional packaging was awful, and they always say 'don't judge a book by it's cover', but doing so has never let me down. And my god, this film, understandably, was just awful.

The pacing was very poor; the slow and awkward editing style made this film quite painful for me to watch. Some of the editing made me laugh even when it shouldn't have. Like the scene where his brother was being killed, which was played over the scene where he was dying in hospital?! It tried so hard to be dramatic with the music but it was just... The type of amateur film making that give me a good laugh. There was next-to-no character development - just a guy who was slowly becoming violent and, if the writing wasn't poor enough, they decided to add in the word "fĂșcking" in between every word. The lead character was bloody boring, completely monotone. As if Joe wasn't a boring enough name, his real name is Martin. I liked some of the cinematography but that's about it.

And what was with that love story? It just seemed to be like a thing on the side and it wasn't really relevant to the main plot or help develop the main character in any way.

You need to check what "insolence" means.

But I agree on this being a very mediocre film.

When I'm gone I would like something to be named after me. A psychiatric disorder, for example.

Promo packaging hahahaha

Dude just watch the film and move on, this film was awesome and the points you raised are woeful to say the least.

It wont be to everyone's taste and that's fine but it is a well made well acted low budget film.

Garbage. Excellent performances from star in the making Neil Maskell and Martin Compston. Great sountrack from Bill Ryder Jones. From down the road here in West Kirby dont you know.
