it took five years - a pretty good coming of age/adveventure/thriller all in one
shareYeah one of McConaughey's more underrated films. He's very good in it as is Tye Sheridan and Jacob Lofland as the young kids. Michael Shannon and Sarah Paulson aren't really given meaty parts. Witherspoon is solid. It's definitely slow moving, and I don't think it needed to be over 2hrs long and I think Director Jeff Nichol's has done better films in Loving, Midnight Special and Take Shelter.
