I agree that Ellis, Tye Sheridan, OWNED this movie.

Ellis was the best. Neckbone was pretty awesome too. MM just didn't have the needed mystery to deliver Mud the way I think the story intended.

I thought everyone in the film was good but the two boy actors really sold the characters to me!

Hey Fairy,

Your thoughts are the same as mine. All of the acting was very good, but the two boys were the brightest stars. Then again, they really had some very good parts in which to shine.

The part where he went back to Mud and punched him after the girl broke his heart was award-worthy material.

I was impressed with how quickly his face would heal after being punched and pounded.
