I know. Why do singers feel like they need to litter the film industry by acting in movies? She isn't even a talented singer and now she's trying acting. My lord.

Not trying to be "original" just truthful. If you're going to claim someone can't sing at least make sure you've actually listened to them sing.
shareAre you kidding? Turn on a radio and you'll hear her sing. She's on ALL THE TIME. Maybe I'm just really sick of her. At least she can hold a tune, I'll give her that. But her voice is also annoying to me.

AS for her acting, I have only seen the previews, but I think she looks like she'll be good.

shareShe has actually acted before. This is her third film I think. She was in a horror movie call Catacombs, not a great movie but she was actually very good in it. This was about 4 years ago so maybe this thread would have worked then, it's not particularly news now. She is also a very talented singer, probably one of the very best around. Whether you like her music or not I don't think there is any validity in saying that she is talentless. It appears she is multi-talented in fact. OP your post is pretty invalid right about now.

What I want to know is, why is Pink not credited in this movie as "Pink", but uses her real name "Alecia Moore" instead?
Wouldn't it make the movie more marketable if they could promote that it is Pink's acting debut. The mainstream don't know the name "Alecia Morre", but they would certainly have heard of Pink.
Pink's fans will see this anyway, but it could draw casual fans too, if she used her professional name in this movie.
Because Pink fans know Alecia Moore is her real name.
Even if people don't know who Alecia Moore is or Pink, they'll want to know who is that actress that played the DeDe character?
Also, why would The Rock want to be known as Dwayne Johnson in his films?

The Rock used his real name, Dwayne Johnson, for two reasons.
Originally, The Rock left WWE to pursue movies. Apparently, Vince McMahon, head of WWE, wasn't happy, and didn't allow him to use the name "The Rock", which was owned and copyrighted by WWE.
Secondly, he wanted to seperate his wrestling career and his movie career. Also, there is still some stigma about professional wrestling by Hollywood types, and he may have felt that it could affect getting roles.
Now, he is dubbed Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for his movies. This is because he has re-established ties with WWE (fighting at the last two Wrestlemanias, so he has got permission to use his "wrestling name" again, along with his real name.
Why would you go to a message board and say, I haven't seen the movie but I bet she can't act?
Message Boards actually work better if you *wait till you've seen the movie* before you post a message
