so in the end, they all relapse?

It's a great insight into the mind of a sex addict, I am pretty certain that somebody from a 12 step programme must've written it as it has a real element of sick dark humour running through it & I had to laugh at all the wrong times as it struck a chord with me.
they are all *beep* up as are all addicts, we have the ability to make the rest of you lot cry with laughter & cry with the pain we inflict on ourselves.
What do you think guys???

"His real name's Mosley"
"I'M MOSLEY"

No, they all didn't relapse in the end. Glad they took the time to make the movie, glad I took the time to watch it. It was a relief to watch a movie where the 'sane' amongst the addicted were shown to be insane.

No they didn't all relapse. Pink's character didn't relapse and Tim Robbins' character didn't either, he almost relapsed but got the call that his son was in a car accident and left the store without the alcohol and he stopped staring and lusting after that woman in the store.

The important thing isn't the fact that Mark Ruffalo and Patrick Fugit and (almost) Tim Robbins "fell of the wagon" but the fact that they didn't give in to it for good. I sort of like the fact that even though Adam had a relapse for a little while, he was strong enough to get back onto the wagon and not let the end of his "streak" be the end of his sobriety. I know this sounds counterintuitive, but I thought it sent a very positive message. It's not that you fall, it's that you pick yourself back up and keep trying.
