Did anyone find this offensive?

I have been bullied before to the point of wanting to commit suicide and it was much worse than what is portrayed in this movie. Granted it was made for TV so they couldn't show a whole lot but that makes me wonder why they chose to portray such a serious story in the first place. Suicide is a serious issue and making it look like it doesn't take much to bring someone to that point or making it the brunt of jokes ("I can't get the cap off!") is just offensive to me.

Absolutely agree. The same thing happened to me.. I hope you are okay after the experience..

I absolutely hated this movie. It swapped real life scenarios with high school movie cliches like the super-stuck up girls. The point of considering suicide is something that builds overtime. In a cyberbullying scenario, the victim is usually also the bully as well. Sometimes the things you say can backfire, and that is where guilt comes in.

The movie "unfriended" is a far better depiction of cyberbullying. If you haven't seen it I suggest you check it out.

I am so sorry you had to endure all that. Suicide and bullying are both very serious subjects that we should not be joking about.
