Why don't cops arrest Lindsay after Taylor almost suicide?

I don't understand... If she suicide, Lindsay not go to jail? I guess it's just a movie.

If real life, cyberbully can go to jail.

Technically Taylor didn't kill herself so there was no clear crime committed, thus no reason for the state's attorney to be involved. If Taylor's family wanted to press charges they could've, but I think they were more focused on helping Taylor get better.

How in the world would Lindsay be the only one at fault? People always have to find someone to blame! God.

Why would they? Taylor was a drama queen with a lot of attitude. Lindsay only put her in her rightful place. I felt sorry for Lindsay. No compassion for the self absorbed drama queen TAYLOR. If only she could have gotten the cap off....
