Does the premise of this remind anyone else of the movie Triangle? If it turns out nearly as good, I'll be pretty happy.

Yes, it has similarities in the sense that things keep (on the face of it) looping and **SPOILER FOR TRIANGLE** characters meet other versions of themselves. But whereas Triangle is AMAZING this is okay to good. Its intriguing and quite creepy in the 2nd half. Its just too hammy to be totally successful.
Worth a watch though. So dont expect another Triangle.

It might as well of been a complete copy of triangle.

I kinda had this on in the background so didn't pay much attention to it but when it started going I was like wow rip off of triangle or what!

It's "might as well have been". Where's this "of" crap coming from? It's not a typo and nowhere on God's green earth is this "of" crap proper grammar.

To me, this "of" phenomenon is at least as compelling as this movie's time loop/it's all in his head thing.

Time loop movies are interesting. This one wasnt that well executed and the characters wasn't likeable.
I did loved Triangle (2009), Timecrimes (2007), Primer (2004) and i really liked The I Inside (2004) Retroactive (1997) Dark Country (2009)... I need to rewatch Salvage (2006).

There was another similar horror movie called Lost Things (2003), i didnt really like it as well, but im just listing some suggestions, if you like that sort of movies.
