so the Indian beekeeper...

So the Indian beekeeper... is a big fan of 'The Neverending Story'? because he's wearing the AURYN http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fb/AURYN_72.JPG around his neck. the mystical talisman in the story and symbol of its mistress, the Childlike Empress

:P

He's wearing the Ouroboros which is the main symbol for this film.

It is the Ouroboros but it is the same design as used in The Neverending Story for the Auryn, when usually it's just two snakes eating each other's tails in a circle (or one snake eating it's own tail).. I think. I don't know if the necklace's exact design was chosen as an homage to Neverending Story, but it's definitely a possibility.

He reminded me of Rob Lowe, actually. Uncredited?

Ha... I should have just looked at the credits. "Farmer" was played by Duane Loken. https://www.facebook.com/duaneloken

There was no Indian beekeeper in the movie that I saw. Is the version on Netflix edited?

Could someone explain what happened during the "beekeeper scene" which the Netflix version apparently edits out? I saw a 'flashback' of Michael's to a man wearing what looked like an ouroboros necklace, and one character mentioned something about "what the farmer said," none of which makes sense given that the character was taken out.
