Pretty good

Same here. I've seen about 10 STV movies with this plot recently (the horrible 'taking justice' with Nic Cage comes to mind), but none of them pulled it off as well as this one.

It was just serious enough to keep things moving, but still had it's tongue in cheek for those silly comedic moments. The characters aren't that badly written, and the acting was MUCH better than the usual STV fare. Some good action scenes and a pace that doesn't slow down too much all help the film too. Worth a watch if you like revenge flicks!

But i'm biased, I love Trejo...

I had real low expectations, but were very positively surprised.

Sure it has cheesy parts, but still better than a lot of the top dollar hollywood films.

I don't care how much it has to do with epic beard man. Take epic beard man as inspiration, instead of expecting the movie to actually show his life.
