Did anyone see the british movie 'Harry Brown'?

It's the exact same story, but the movie tops this one in the sense of drama and character development. A lot less action, but the action feels more personal, because you really start to feel for the old geezer.

shareIt does seem quite the same. Two older men, both having their friends killed and having the police show little interest, decide to take matters into their own hands.
Nonetheless, I think this looks like more an action type one. It seems silly, and crazy, so I think the story is the only place it matches as this one is a bit over the top whereas Harry Brown is a more realistic story.
"Harry Brown" is close to a masterpiece, serious, gritty, realistic, while "Bad Ass" is just made for a laugh. Very different approach.
shareHarry Brown is an utter masterpiece. While I enjoyed this film, because I like Trejo, there is no comparison. Every element of that movie is far superior to this one, or, frankly, 99 out of a 100 movies made.
I did like Bad Ass, though. It was a decent way to spend 90 minutes, and its great to see Danny Trejo get an above-the-title movie that isn't pure garbage (i.e., Machete).
