Does anybody else notice things like this?

I KNOW IT's JUST A MOVIE!!!!!!I just wanted to get that out of the way. This one thing I always notice,I like to call it "Stephen Segal Syndrome".When a fight breaks out people line up to fight the hero one by one.Rather than rush the guy and take him all at once.I see it all the time. It's like they are saying "now it's your turn to kick his butt" and they line up to do it.It happened in this movie. That's why I enjoy movies done by Jet Li & Jackie Chan better-you see them taking on multiple opponents.
From Siskel & Ebert's tired movie cliches: while I wasn't a fan of Siskel & Ebert they once did a show of tired movie cliches,It was their best show-I thoroughly recommend it to movie watchers. It was about things you see in movies over & over.It happened here. When a hero in the movie walks in a bar a fight will break out.Just once as a change of pace,I'd like to see the hero walk into a bar, have a beer, question a few people,& walk out.
And yes another tired movie cliche happened here -the obligatory car chase-except it happened with buses.I can imagine somebody saying "let's rewite the car chase scene & use buses instead".
I sometimes also wonder about this,if you are a screenwriter, when you turn a script into a studio, how many times have you had it returned & had the words "Needs A Car Chase" stamped on the script?
