I don't see how they could really avoid compensating EBM for what they're doing, but if they've found some kind of legal loophole where they don't have to and choose not to, it'll be a sad, pathetic thing. And if I find out about it, I'll certainly never watch another Trejo or Moss movie again.

They paid him $6000 and promised him 10% of the profits. I'll bet that he will never see his 10%. This is a common trick that movie makers pull on unsuspecting people. They promise a percentage of the profits and then their accountants make the movie look like it was not profitable.
EBM took his $6000 and gave a lot of it away to random people he met on the street. The last I heard of him was that he was kicked out of his home and is wandering the streets.
I also heard that he died at the age of 70 BUT I have not confirmed that. I only found one reference to it on the net and I did not consider that one reliable.
He's very much Alive i'm from Oakland and i seen him wondering the streets of the Fruitvale area of Oakland like 2 weeks ago. I see him quite often in East Oakland.
