Was anyone hoping it actually aided the Nazi cause?

SPOILERS@!!!

It would have been a more intriguing film had the Tiger 3-0-3 beacon come from the Germans, and they were testing the undead on a recon unit of Russians they knew were in the area.

The undead could have been Hitler's V-4 weapon, as the trailer tagline suggests. The plot should have had Viktor more in tune with the occult, listeing to Wagner and branding each of his test subjects with Norse runes. Instead, it turns out he is just some psycho that like slicing up brains because he spent an uncomfortable number of days in a labor camp before getting his freedom. YAWN.

Seriously, Marvel's PG-13 Captain America spent more time with the occult than this movie.

This should have been like Blood Creek. That was a ride!
