So I googled "The Best Offer" to see if it was worth to see it and that is what I got:
Virgil Oldman (Geoffrey Rush), the director of an esteemed auction house, falls in love with a reclusive young heiress. After he shows her his priceless collection of portraits, she soon disappears with all of his paintings.
I thought the movie would be about his quest for revenge or something but no, that was it...
It was still worth to see the movie, but I'd have liked to be able to put the pieces together myself :(
