I just saw this today. Can someone please explain...

the last 10-20 minutes because I'm not sure I understand? I couldn't decipher all the changing scenes between hospital & his running around trying to make sense of it all. Did he have a stoke or something & was actually in a hospital remembering how he was duped and was the trip carrying the painting & sitting in the cafe, etc all in his head? Or was he in the hospital recovering from the beating and then found out they ripped him off when he got out then took the trip with the painting to the city she talked about hoping to see her?

No offense intended...I've an opinion like everyone else

He had a breakdown, and it was depicting through progressive montage flashbacks what he did and what happened to him after discovering the collection was stolen by his "closest to him".

Life can be arbitrary and comes without a warranty.

So then was his trip to Prague before he had a breakdown and ended up being hospitalized, or did he recover and decide to wait off his dying days in Prague waiting for the girl to show up?
