I know that would ruin the atmosphere, and I know somebody in a horror film has to do some really STUPID things to advance the plot, but COME ON! If you hear a sound in a darkened house, what's the first thing you would do? Correctamundo! You'd turn on the friggin' lights!

Because his wife would flip for waking the kids. And he would rather the whole family get murdered than admit to her that they were living in βthe houseβ that the murders occurred - I mean the house that the murders occurred in the backyard.
Overall, this movie was awesome!!! I canβt believe there was decently recent horror movie that I hadnβt seen - which was very exciting! Iβll be watching the second one soon. Heard it wasnβt *as good* but still will watch it!
When movie makers are gonna realize we won't be scared until we can relate to the person in the movie. It's got to be the most unrealistic movie.
