Should've been titled...

Mr. Boogie

Then maybe I would've seen it sooner.

reply

Hahaah brilliant

reply

It should've benn called 'Home movies'.

reply

That's a very bad idea!

Home Movies (1980)
Home Movies (in development)
Home Movies (1988)
Home Movies (1940) (Short)
Home Movies (2010)
Home Movies (1998)
Home Movies (2002) (Video)
Home Movies (1922)
Home Movies (2009) (Video)
Home Movies (2011)

This is minus the final "s"; but, for perhaps the most aggravatingly dense parents, check out "Home Movie" (2008)!

It's a pet peeve of mine that filmmakers do not seem to put much thought into titles. At least "Sinister" is underused for movies. Another thing: I hate all of those movies with titles that are simply people's names. Do they really expect people to recall these titles?! "Ummmm... Yeah... It's that movie with what's-his/her-name. What was it?!"

I definitely think he should have had his own signature dance, called the Mr. Boogie Boogie, of course...

reply

Or the Boogie-oogie-oogie.

reply

Yes! And those creepy kids can be his back-up dancers!

There was actually a moment in the movie when we suddenly see them standing in a line, in the lights & fog, & I swear they looked exactly like they were Hawke's back-up dancers & we were about to be treated to a spontaneous choreographed broadway-style show.
