I watched it and was kind of stressed. Maybe the music did it. I can't decide if it's good or not. Kind of creepy and kind of stupid. Seemed a little too convenient for scariness sake that the main character never turned on lights when waking down halls or entering rooms. But if the main characters were smart, we wouldn't have scary films, right?
shareOne thing I forgot to mention is that cable stations are showing this film on a regular basis. Does that indicate a large fan base if this film is good enough is support advertising demands?
shareIt's a good move. I just watched it again recently and was impressed by the performances, the atmosphere, the mystery, and especially the video footage that Ethan Hawke's character watches. I thought it was way, way better than the overrated but oft-compared to Insidious.
