Why Vincent D'Onofrio Uncredited?
He is a pretty big deal.
sharei guess he asked not to be credited in this disapointment of a movie.
shareMany times an actor goes uncredited, at their request, if their part is small in the film. They don't want fans to go see it and then be disappointed with so little screen time.
I thought he doubled as Mr. Boogie though!
He was smart. ;-)
shareHoly crap, it didn't even dawn on me that that was D'Onofrio
I will not fear, fear is the mind killer
He said in an interview that he took the role because he is friend's with Ethan Hawke. Hawke loved the way the film was going, and wanted to bring some of his friends in for small cameos, so he invited D'Onofrio to take the role of the professor.
He chose to go uncredited because it was such a small role requiring little effort done as a favor to a friend... practically a cameo. Many times in these sorts of small roles actors choose to go uncredited for a variety of reasons.
Definitely wasn't because D'Onofio disliked the film, as some have suggested.
And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?
