So how did the other families become subjected to Mr Boogie?

I don't get this movie. How did the kids become possessed by Bughuul? The movie says that children could become possessed by Bughuul by seeing images of him. But when do any of the children ever see an image of him? The only images of him are in the super 8 films. Also, if you say that the super 8 films are the source of the images, then why didn't any of the victims report the films to the police? We would have to assume that they each found the films in the same way that Ellison did and watched them. And his first instinct was to call the police, the only reason he hung up was to write his book. Any normal family would call the police and deliver the films to them as evidence.

Even though baguul can not seem to.fully possess adults.like children maybe it's possible that bagel can still affect them in some way. Almost like they have a morbid fansination and curiosity about the tapeS. Like they know they should.call the police but morbid curiosity keeps them looking and thinking about the tapeS and in the process a child catches a look. The adults who find the tapeS are sort of morbidly attached and interested and they experience creepy things like Ellison did. They leave the house and the rest is history. The child who sees the image of bagel starts to be haunted by a child or ,children from the tape. Mainly the missing child from the slaughtered family right before. Just like Ashley was haunted by stephanie and the boys in the second movie were haunted by Milo and the others. I know in the first movie they don't show Ashley being haunted very much but I am.sure she was like Milo haunted Dylan. And the other kids probably were there too we just never saw those occasions.

Lol i know stupid auto correct. And I went back and corrected it and it did not work. I was worried nobody would take my post seriously with the whole bagel thing lol. Haha imagine the demon in a scene holding a bagel. Ha ha he has no mouth so wouldn't be able to eat it.
