The worst SWAT team ever

I litteraly stopped taking the film seriously after the first gunfight. Couldn't they just hire a police advisor to give the money any kind of credibility? I sighed and rolled my eyes when the the characters ended up like: "Awwww dayumm seems like no one knows we're here so we won't bother just *beep* calling 911 like a 12 year old could do. Let's just leave everyone to be mowed down by oily and dirty stereotypical villains we've seen in countless movies!" Such a waste, I was actually expecting something great but the IMDB rating system is letting me down these days.

If you saw the special features on the DVD, they did go through SWAT training for the movie.

His none response is funny

So it was the SWAT training taught them how to run to the nearest open window and tactically collect all enemy fire in their skulls.

The sergeant himself is pissed off when he finds out that essentially the lieutenant organised a bunch of inexperienced recruits be sent out and they will get no back-up. Having said that the recruits gave a good account of themselves I thought.🐭

reply

ONE inexperienced recruit, is what the sergeant said.

reply

The white-haired guy in the beginning mentioned SEVERAL inexperienced guys.

I really wanted to like this, too. Gave it two stars.
On the bright side, my movie-night was not a complete waste as I finally got around to seeing Tropa De Elite. Now that was a great movie!
