This isn't a movie--this is a video game with the controller on autopilot. Banal plot with banal characters. I expect the remake will simply be called "Level 2"--the exact same movie with the bad guys carrying pistols instead of machetes. Level 3 - Uzis, Level 4 - bazookas, etc... I really lost faith in IMDB ratings with this "movie."

and just sit back and see if you enjoy the experience or not. People obviously enjoy watching this. Whether it can be considered good by some kind of standard is irrelevant.

Personally I found the action scenes and choreography great, but the acting and script was poor.

IMDb ratings have always and will always be user driven, it's nothing more than an average of how most people feel. Just because the majority of the opinions don't coincide with your idiotic generalizations doesn't mean the system is broken.
