Would you leave motorbikes worth an apparent $40,000, or a helicopter worth over $100,000 just because of a storage bin charge? Even if you went to prison you'd get someone to clear it out for you. Or do people in America routinely just discard helicopters, expensive antiques, artworks and sports memorabilia? Tres bizarre.

Probably people abandoning their assets to declare themselves bankrupt to avoid giant debts. Worth offloading a 100G item to escape 1/2 mill debt.

Obviously nobody knows about the storage if they can just abandon it.
The whole show is 100% fake from start to finish, the stuff worth any money is rented for show then returned to the owners once the shot is finished.
