The only part that annoyed me is the whole, I think the word the doctor used "extremely" painful injection they were using in quarantine. I find it hard to believe we can put killers to death pain free with lethal injections and with all the medications we have available they were using these extremely painful and he also made it sound like it took days to work with his "till the end" comment, on these kids (and adults). Lethal injection takes only seconds to work.
shareYes, but maybe this did not work painlessly on the infected ones in this movie. Maybe the infection "fought" the euthanasia medicine they were using so that it was painful and took days to work. That is how I took him to mean what he said. What bothered me was they were euthanizing them. Also, according to some media accounts of executions, not all lethal injections are pain free.

When he said "until the end", I took it as he meant the injection didn't take immediate effect. Perhaps it takes only minutes, or maybe an hour, but it would be excruciating right up until they died.
