shareTotally surprised if this actually happens. I thought Usagi could only appear if Stan Sakai gave permission to Peter Laird (who's no longer involved with the franchise), but I guess Stan trusts the show runners' goodwill well enough.

Usagi has been just as much of a staple in the franchise as characters like Shredder and Baxter Stockman. I'm pretty sure he's appeared in most of the TV adaptations, and some of the comics. This is exciting!
IF so, maybe we'll finally explore who really cut Tigerclaw's tail off? :)
One can only hope.
