80s Donatello had 80s Raphael's voice at the end of the crossover ep.

The line "Feels great to be back home" was clearly dubbed by Rob Paulsen aka current Donnie. Most likely a reference to the 80s show constantly switching up the voices.

Yeah it happened a lot in the 80s lol

Not only did that happen all the time in the original but sometimes their masks would switch colours too

That was a cleaver reference :)

Quite odd but a nice reference.

Yea, Filmation had their mistakes, but man did anyone screw up more than MWS?

If I didn’t talk the way I talk I wouldn’t know who the hell I am, Sean Connery on his accent

I'm not quite sure why they cast Sean Astin as the voice of Raphael when Rob Paulsen is the one who did it originally. Why not make Sean Astin Donetello?

"Baba Booey! Baba Booey!"

I think it would've been a borderline fourth wall break to have Paulsen voice Raph again. Plus, Astin does a really good job portraying Raph as the hothead he was always meant to be, which they didn't really do in '87.

Thit and thpin!
