Not Better than The Dark Knight or Batman Begins.

Sorry i don't think this better than either of those movies and i though the Dark Knight was somewhat overrated. For me this was the Nolan Trilogy repackage under different label. It might look different. But its not that different.

-Grounded Realistic Batman, Check.
-City Corruption, Check.
-Guy with Eccentric Outfit having a plan to destroy the entire city, Check.

This movie offers nothing new other than "Look Batman doing Detective Stuff" And even then he couldn't stop Riddler Master Plan. So Much for the Worlds Greatest Detective. Maybe After this new Trilogy. Maybe we can get something that actually original. Maybe something more like the actual comics. Maybe Add some the more fantastical character.

Out of all the things you listed the only thing that held weight was the grounded realistic Batman.

Everything else is present in every Batman film ever made.

I just don't remember City Corruption playing a huge part of the Plots of Batman 66 Batman 89, Return, Forever, Batman and Robin. That Mainly a Nolan thing.

Batman 1966, Forever and Batman and Robin I could I give you because they are such campy films. Ever since the Burton era Batman has changed. Anyway Batman 1989 deals with a mobster who got away with killing Bruce Wayne's parents. It heavily deals with the mob, that is city corruption. Batman Returns deals with a shady rich CEO in Max Shrek. It shows how he is able to utilize his money, resources and power to get Oswald in a position of power. It is only reinforced at the end when Batman tells him he is going to jail.

Catwoman says the law does not apply to people like him or us, which indicates that is city corruption. Every dark Batman story such as Batman 1989, Batman Returns, Mask of the Phantasm, TDK trilogy and the Batman all deal with corruption in the city in some way shape or form. The comics lean heavily into that as well. Comics such as Batman Year One, The Long Halloween, Dark Victory, Hush etc. To dislike that is really to dislike a key component of the character. Nolan might lean heavily into it but that does not make it specifically a Nolan thing. As I said that is heavily touched on in the comic books as well.
