Robert Pattinson COULD have been brilliant..

But they give him nothing to do as Bruce Wayne, we hardly spent any time in this 3 hour film with Bruce Wayne at all, if he’d been allowed to play it similar to his role in Tenet and Good Time he could have done wonders with Bruce Wayne because he’s definitely got the ability.

Also Riddler was criminally underused, less time on Selena and Falcone and more time on the cat and mouse between Riddler and Batman this film could have been great.

You mean "You lied to me, Alfred" wasn't enough??

That scene alone was proof of how terrible is Pattinson as an actor. This dude is unable to show emotions at all. He should make a movie with Kristen Stewart... oh wait.

I'm not sure what you mean with "nothing to do" as Bruce Wayne...? You mean out of costume? We spend a lot of time with Bruce/Batman, and I really enjoyed the character arc there. They dug into his past a bit, he went through an emotional wringer at the end there, was challenged by Catwoman... I liked it. Maybe if you could clarify what you mean?

I also disagree that there wasn't enough cat-and-mouse with Riddler and Batman. It's most of the movie. Falcone's part of their games.

If anything, I'd have liked a bit more time with Catwoman to strengthen the relationship between her and Batman.

I thought the movie was a trainwreck and I know there was a lot of behind the scenes snafus with production. But I think there's great building blocks in place for a sequel. Now that everybody's on the same page with what's going on, the next one might be a lot more cohesive and engaging.

Falcone needs to have more screen time because he's gonna be dead. While The Riddler, Catwoman and Penguin can still be developed further in the sequel(s).

I think the movie did a good job at balancing all the characters' screetimes. Never felt unbalanced like in Spider-Man 3 with Venom, Sandman and Goblin.

Also, Pattinson's take on Bruce Wayne is brilliant. What are you talking about?
