Meh

Not bad but also not great
I give it a 6/10 ⭐Stars for effort....

It's beyond me what all the hype was/is about.

Meh is about right. A long, dimly lit, slow film with rubbish costumes, okay acting and an okay story stretched thin. I don't think I can name one thing it done really well...some of the cinematography was nice, but the aesthetic was so dark and dim it was worthless. I guess the fight choreography was decent.

I'll give it some props because the 3 hours went by relatively quickly. But why this needed to be so long is a mystery to me.

I finally saw it last night, and I give it a "meh -." The writing is always king, and here it damaged whatever good aspects were present. I don't know how it was so well reviewed, or why it made as much money as it did. I had some reservations (not about the cast), so I didn't pay to see it. Good call.

Agree, it wasn't so bad. It didn't feel that long either. They tried to show a more "humane" face of the villains, but up to a certain point. Some riddles were clever, but others were just utterly crap used as an excuse to advance the plot.

Best Catwoman ever (but not much effort was required anyways). Pattinson's bad acting is still enough to surpass Ben Affleck's Batman. The Batmobile is either the worst in history, or the most realistic ever, your call.

I'd give it a 7/10.
It's not bad. I prefer it much more than so much of the Marvel cotton candy or the DC films, but not as good as the Dark Knight trilogy or even Batman 89 as a stand alone Batman film.
Nothing spectacular, but not bad. It was a worth a watch and an occasional re-watch.
