Can we get this guy an Oscar already? He is fantastic in everything he's in!
Interesting sidenote: He's been in a Marvel film (Black Panther) and now a DC film!

Also, a shout out to Jeffrey Wright. He's always great as well. 100% dependable actor.

These two guys elevated this movie quite a bit.

Nah, he's bland as fuck in this. Watch the reviews for some quality insight and let the sunk cost fallacy go.

Bland? His role in n this particular movie didn’t call for fireworks. My post is more about how he has, throughout his entire career, been consistently brilliant...and in some cases, even a pioneer.

In The Batman, he struck just the right notes and tone for what was called for with his character.

Possibly. The fear of war does does drive people to the cinema and people have a hard time admitting that their expenditure was a poor decision.

He was Oscar worthy as Caesar in War for the Planet of the Apes I think.

As for The Batman Serkis was great but I don't think there was a weak link in any of the performances, excellent casting choices.

Both him and Pattinson as Bruce Wayne needed far more screentime in this to me. They felt very underused.
