Darker than The Dark Knight

The Batman is unlike any other Batman film before it. The plot is grounded in reality, even more so than Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy.

One part Fincher’s ZODIAC.
One part FRENCH CONNECTION.
One part classic Batman.

Dark Noir Detective Story. Can't wait.

reply

I can't wait to not watch it.

reply

Why not? You don't like Batman? How could you. :(

reply

I like Batman fine. I don't like Pattinson at all, though. So I will not watch this movie.

reply

Dude looks like the best Bruce Wayne ever captured on film, and he's a fantastic actor. I can't wait for this one.

reply

I can't stand his 'acting'. I will pass. There are way too many other films I'd rather watch. And the movie looks like CW all the way.

reply

I’ll give it a watch, maybe I’ll like it, maybe I’ll hate it but I think it’s worth it to at least see it.

Fortunately this is in no way connected to the flawless and iconic Dark Knight Trilogy so even if they fuck it up it won’t ruin those movies like the sequel trilogy did to the OT Star Wars

reply

The dark knight rises spoils the trilogy, very mediocre movie.

reply

It was a perfect conclusion

reply

The ending was , but the movie as a whole was meh

reply

The only legitimate complaint I have about it is the clean slate exposition. The dialogue didn’t sound natural and it would have been better if Selina explained what it was in front of someone who didn’t know what it was (Daggett did)

reply

I agree it's darker than TDKT.

It sure was a better 'Batman' film than The Dark Knight whereas Bale's Batman hardly had much screen presence as Ledger's Joker. I consider it more of a villain film whereas despite me wanting more of Pattinson as Bruce, it sure did the character better justice.
