Please, for the love of god, retire batman for a while. We're tired of new Batman stuff. Give it a break of 10 years. Make something new. Please.
shareAgreed, the break should have been a bit longer, at least a few more years. I'm not sure if people are tired of Batman though, he always seems to be a hit. However, where is the Green Arrow movie? He is practically the poor man's Batman.
shareThe Green Arrow's had a whole series devoted to him, and to make it interesting, they had to import a whole lot of Batman villains and plotlines.
shareSo did the Flash and that show is still going. It's CW so you get maybe one or two good seasons. Would be nice to get a film, although, the show didn't end too long ago so maybe a film would need to wait a few years too.
shareLiterally only the first two seasons of Arrow were good (the whole Slade arc was brilliant, but the final fight between him and Oliver was lame!).
The show went downhill FAST after the second season, and it turned into typical CW woke garbage, just like Flash.
The showrunners who did Daredevil on Netflix should have tried to get a hold of the Arrow property if they're not going to make a movie. If they do make a movie? Gareth Evans needs to direct... a Green Arrow movie with action sequences mirrored after The Raid would be awesome!
Why? there is so much good batman to adopt and do. if they start taking the comic/animated content and make it live action. till bring unknown amazing storylines to those who don't know it.
also Batman content has been relatively high quality. of course batman forever and batman and robin were total shit. ut overall we've gotten at least decent to amazing batman content

That isn't really a valid reply on a website dedicated to the discussion of movies. One could argue that all movie discussion was a pointless thread, if affecting a movies production is the requirement for validation.
