I think he's am ok composer but I don't see him doing Batman. I think his best work was either Cloverfield or the Apes films. I was not a fan of what he did for the MCU spiderman films and doctor strange and I honestly don't think he's like a top their composer like everyone makes him out to be
shareThe countless great scores he's made says otherwise. From Lost to Pixar to the POTA to his Mission: Impossible scores, he's shown great ability to diversify and adapt.
shareYeah I definitely think his best work are his Pixar films and MI:4 was pretty good as well but just for some reason I just don't see him doing Batman but hey he can possibly pull it off. I just didn't really like his scores for Spiderman, Doctor Strange, and Rogue One. But I'll still be optimistic about his Batman score.
shareLOST mixed with some Planet of the Apes would work for me. The fact he does so many genres helps tremendously and the theme he already put out sounds like he's on the right track.
