S3

Disappointing

A few musical numbers used in an attempt to engage the audience. Sorkin is headed toward the no man's land of Milch and Weiner.

In general, the characters suffered from flat affect, failed to connect at an emotional level, (lack of facial/eye contact, sincerity).

Stories felt redundant, rehash of the days news or contrived. Dialogue delivery inconsistent, from normal speed patterns to manic.

Jeff Daniels and Sam Waterston deserved more, and so did the audience.

I was content with Season 3 and I thought it wrapped up all the storylines nicely.

Your comments could just as easily describe the first 2 seasons. The entire show was nothing more than an arrogant, elitist rant from a writer who apparently believes that there is a direct correlation between rate of speech and credibility/intelligence.

I like S3. I particularly like Jeff Daniels Emily Mortimer and S3.
