I don't understand what this propaganda TV show is about

Because when you have millions poured into an Hollywood TV show potentially watched by millions, of course it's propaganda.

But I'm surprised by the few excerpt from the movie: the main actor (Jeff Daniels) saying pretty basic but polemic truth that pretty much goes against regular medias propaganda.

A TV show propaganda against Media propaganda? Weird if you ask me.

I created an indicator to gauge the level of alignment with propaganda called the Islamometer: if they're doing regular Islamophobic propaganda (you can also apply that to racism although more subtle) propaganda, then everything is fine, we're dealing with propaganda like 90% of the media. If the media/movie/show actually contains truth and debunking about all the bigoted propaganda that target muslims like it targeted jew last century, then well, we might be dealing some legit stuff there.
