I liked Neil!! Maybe because I always read what a great guy he is in person
Don, definitely...but not initially. I didn't like him
Then it could be anyone, except...my "least favorite"-Maggie. Who had her moments but sporadic bouts of annoyance knocked her down to least favorite.
Most favorite: Sloan, Will, Don, Charlie, even Reese!
I didn't like Maggie and Jim that much, but Maggie's story during season 2 was heartbreaking
I liked Sloan and Will cause they were reporting the news. Also Elliot!

And Reese because I really like Chris Messina, so seeing how he transformed from the Mindy project to Reese, was quite amazing!
Just finished watching the show. I hadn't even heard about it until it popped up in my Amazon

Will is the best character on the show. I had no idea Jeff Daniels could actually act. He's fantastic.
I think Jim is my favorite, although I think he needs to grow a pair when it comes to dealing with strong women. I actually liked him with Lisa, because she was nice to him.
Maggie is my absolute least favorite. I cannot stand her character. She's obnoxious, nosy, and Incredibly self-deceived. I have no idea how men in the show are even attracted to her. It made my skin crawl to hear her constantly telling people to "Shut up" or watch how hard she kept pushing Jim to date Lisa or call his other news gf (Meryl's daughter). Someone needs to give her a good slap upside the head and tell her to mind her own business.
This. Agree 100%, and especially about Maggie. That, and the at times patronizing attitude towards women, as if it's somehow unacceptable to expect them to behave like adults - in other words, condoning arrogant, bitchy, or downright violent behavior. Sloan assaulting the guy who (she assumed) posted nudes of her on the web is one of the more colorful examples. And guys on the show for some reason finding these traits attractive or even tolerable. If someone thinks this is what a "strong woman" is, they're delusional.
Thankfully, the show was better than this most of the time. And Jeff Daniels is indeed great in the role.
She knew he posted the nudes as he was the one that took them with a camera she bought him. He deserved what he got.

Three favorite in no particular order: Sloan, Charlie, MacKenzie
Least favorite, hands down, Jerry Dantana.
Loved them all. Sloan was probably my fav. Love Neal. Don was awesome when he was with Sloan. Maggie was kind of irritating. Even grew to like Reece towards the end.
Sure do miss this series. Could have watched it for 10 years.
fav? hard to say Sloan and Don definitely, for 3rd one either Will or Charlie, Neal is close too
least fav of the main cast is Maggie by far, she's just annoying, the only other of the main cast I dislike (well, I dont really care about him) is Jim, idk, to me he's just kinda ... there most of the time, though he has a few moments
if we count the side chars than Jerry Dantana easily he and hia stupid genoa completely ruined 30% of season 2 for me
