about the inner workings of the U.N. Should be enormous material there for drama, politics, everything that The West Wing had. I know he has said that the NR will be his last TV show, but ya never know.
I read once after TWW and before S60 that he was going to write about a young woman in a symphony, a cello player. I've never figured out if he was being sarcastic and I fell for it or off he meant it but couldn't pull it together.
Even though I personally think all 4 of his shows were genius, he considers his TV run more or less a failure. He has said he wont do another series. He has said he has done 4 shows and "only one was The West Wing"
Doesn't sound like he enjoys the experience. It's a shame, I love his series work.
If he goes back to TV, which is highly unlikely, I would want his next show to be about a newspaper. The fictional "Sports Night" was always in danger of cancellation, so that kind of attitude would work well with a daily newspaper that's struggling and in danger of ending. It would allow Sorkin to have fun with the paper's print edition vs. digitial edition.
