Watched this last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thought acting was superior, corageous and bold. The only thing that bothered me was Susan at the very end. All this time was spent with Helen Hunt. Personal connections and love were developed on both sides. Then, he meets an intern at the hospital and he says in the narration that Susan became the love of his life? I didn't see the relationship develope. She had what... 3 quick scenes?

Great movie overall.

The movie is about the sessions, without the sessions he wouldnt have a new woman

He also said he died 5 years later after meeting her. So that's 5 years for her to become the love of his life. Obviously there was a connection with Helen Hunts character, but they were only together for 4 sessions. So I can definitely buy that
