Plot hole or just saving money?

Berkeley CA is a city of over 100,000 people. How is it that every place Mark needs to go in the film is easily within the distance he can be wheeled on his gurney - sometimes by a women of small stature. Given that the picture was made for next to nothing is this a plot hole or were they just saving money by not involving vehicles?

Jeez, who cares?

You seemed to be confused about what a plot hole actually is.

The fact that a disabled person would shop/meet/go to the park, etc, near his home is hardly what I'd call a plot hole. I lived in Long Beach (pop. over 400,000) and did most things (eat at restaurants, go to beach, bank, grocery, etc.) within walking distance of my home, and I'm not disabled. It's not only possible, but very likely, that this would occur.
